Mother's Day!

Happy Mother's Day to everyone!

I had such a great day! So busy living it, I forgot to take a single picture. I guess that's really a good thing, right?

I'm not much of a "gift girl" (I know, it's just anti-American, isn't it?), so no big presents for me. But the kids made little bags of "kisses" (the chocolate kind) for me at church and that was fun. Punkin is a HUGE "gift girl" so she made me several little cards, and was very excited to give me the bag she had put together.

After church, my hubby fixed lunch (THAT'S the kind of "gift" I love), we all took a nap, and then went to the indoor pool and swam the afternoon away. It was a wonderful, relaxed, stress-free day. Exactly the way Sundays - especially Mother's Day - should be.

I sure do love those kids. I could not be happier that God gave them to me!

We are blessed to be Mother's!! It's a special position that no other can hold or fulfill.

I love when the kids make things in Sunday School! Those are the things I treasure more than something bought - although,I must admit, that I am partial to some pretty flowers!

I am with you. I am not much of a "gift" person either.

Your day sounds truly perfect and relaxing.

I am so glad you enjoyed your Mother's Day. Children are such a blessing and I feel we are truly blessed to have and enjoy them. I am so glad you did.

God Bless,

aaaww.. so sweet.. sounds like a wonderful day! We had a nice mother's day here too... went on a hike up a mountain and sat at the top and ate our lunch while we looked down at the beauty of the valley below us!
