The amount of toys we have is obscene - really. We could have a day care in our home if there was any room for the actual, you know, children! I say my excuse is that we homeschool and we are in our home a LOT! Ha ha!
I've been "meaning to" go through the toys and pass on the ones that the kids have outgrown or don't play with anymore. (And try desperately to get rid of some kids' meals toys while I'm at it.) The room became a disaster since we were not straightening it regularly because I was going to sort through everything.
I finally did it! I went through the toys! I cleaned up the playroom! I re-organized! Whoo-hoo!

Do you think it will stay that way for long?
Head on over to 5 minutes for Mom to see other tackles!

haa haa NO! lol!
Great job - the room looks great! I love those stacking cubes in the corner!
Ha! are you kidding?? probably about 5 - 10 minutes once the kids get back in there!! Unless you can manage to keep them out of there for the summer!! That's the nice thing about the hot weather around here.... the kids spend most of the day outside...ie..less mess in the house!
But ya...it feels great to get it done doesn't it?! So did you get rid of many toys? It's hard to tell from the pictures...
Maybe for 15 minutes if your VERY fortunate!!!! Good job though.

So are you going to cordon it off? It looks great.
I'm impressed. My kids play with 25% of the toys in their room. I need to do a serious clean sweep. I am also going to be very smart when buying anything for them this Christmas. They only play with one thing from last Christmas. They always beg for complicated toys, but end up playing with a sword and a balloon, or something similar.

That looks productive!
I am impressed. I have a few rooms to tackle. Too bad Tuesday is almost over. Guess I'll have to wait until next week. Ha!
