We are doing a unit on Native Americans, and having a great time.
Our local Nature & Science museum has a Native American exhibit, so we visited this week. Here were some of the highlights:
A miniature hogan circa 1930 design. (The kids have on crowns from the "gold" exhibit - no photography was allowed in that exhibit.)

Inside the hogan playing "house" with another child who was visiting. "Would you like some tea?"

Punkin's favorite exhibit - the tee-pee:

Little Man's favorite part - the dinosaur model at the entrance to the museum. He was pretending that the dinosaur was stepping on him.

In the elevator on the way back to our car:

We had a great day!
