Enjoying the last days of summer

I would like to know - where has the summer gone?? And HOW is it possible that the pool closes in 2 weeks??

What fun to soak up the last few days:

This has been the fastest summer I ever remember but I am plenty ready for fall and cooler temperatures!

Thanks for stopping by!

You do "have your hands full" too!

Weaver sounds great...we haven't decided on what school road we are taking, but I am definitely going to check out Weaver.

Also, LOVE the multi-tasking moms! So cool...

OH what fun!
Both of our pools closed here a couple weeks ago. So we couldn't even get out to enjoy the last days of summer.
The outdoor pool pipes broke and they shut the indoor pool down to drain the water, paint and etc.

I know what you mean!! That's what everyone is saying...
Maybe it's some kind of a conspiracy?!?! Maybe someone has adjusted the calendars at night or something or given the Earth an extra hard spin to speed things up?!!? All I know is that our pool is getting a little bit chilly and I'm not excited about that! My flowers were super slow this year and are just now starting to really fill out and look pretty....and of course they're annuals....oh well... guess I'd better get started on them earlier next year!! Have fun with your schooling...
take care!

Public school started August 8th. Our local pool closed during the week, and is only open on weekends now. How sad is that? What about all of the SAHMs with young children who would want to use the pool? It's been over 100 with no rain for weeks!

Our schools around here didn't start until Monday which is later than in the past, but the summer still went by so fast. I think God has pushed the FF button on time. We, as moms, have to savor and soak in each and every moment with our families. My mil says that I will blink and my kids will have their own kids. I love to smell the back of their sweet little heads. I try to save that smell in a file in my brain. I don't ever want to forget it.
