Boys, Boys!

Well, we're up to 30! Between them, they have had 30 stitches or staples.

These 3 staples were necessary because of SnugBug's "dizzy game" that ended with his head against the edge of a speaker.
I wish I had the video thing figured out, because listening to him tell the story is pretty cute.
"I was gettin' dizzy and I fell against the seeker, and I had to go to the hos-pi-tal, and I even, I even, got a pah-si -cal! (Popsicle is a very hard word to say.)

He cried for a little bit (of course) but overall was very calm. The staples go in so quickly that it was over before he really registered that it was hurting. Punkin was more traumatized, I think. It took a little while to convince her that he wasn't going to die, and she stayed up past 10 until we got back from the ER so she could see that he was going to be fine. I'm so grateful that she cares about him!

I've been delinquent posting about this - it was Friday night a week ago. This past Friday, we went and had the staples removed. He's healing up quickly and it looks good! He was my "super-big, brave boy" so I took him to McDonald's for his favorite ice cream sundae.

Even with all of his "repairs" - isn't he the cutest thing?? Oh, I just love that crazy boy.

We've had stitches and staples too. The only downside? Hair won't grow there. Not an issue unless he wants a buzz cut. Then again, he'll have a cool scar to impressthe girls.

He's adorable! His retelling of the story was very funny. And it's so cute that your daughter was concerned about him.

Poor child! Sounds like he did really well with the whole thing. We avoided the stitches, but had lots of broken bones. I hated those days.

Can't wait to see what kind of scars my little guy will get.

Two kids and 30 stiches or staples? Wow, you are way ahead of us in that department and we have seven! Maybe we should compare broken bones....

Glad he's all healed up. Popsickles and ice cream will make the memory a sweet one!

Hi! Thank your for commenting on my blog-your words mean alot :)

Your little boy is precious!!

I hate that he had to get stitches! I think my son is going to be accident prone as well...my daughter is that's for sure. We have one concussion, one set of stitches, and several ER visits!!
