We got great news today!
The specialist sees no evidence of an abscess or a crack in her tooth. We will go back in a few weeks to have x-rays done again to make sure, but today's appointment was very, very positive. I am breathing a huge sigh of relief!
We will still need to take the next steps about getting the chipped part repaired, but I am so grateful she does not need a root canal at this point!!

I hate to even bring it up, but I believe they repaired my tooth in 5th grade after my skateboard accident, and then did the root canal in like 9th...sorry, just felt you should be warned! :-D

Oh my goodness. I just got caught up tonight on the tooth story - I'm so relieved that he didn't see a crack or abscess. Whew!

I've just caught up on your news. We've been on vacation. Well I hope that tooth can stay put. Funny, Joel just lost his top milk tooth tonight.
