What I learned this week

Musings of a Housewife is hosting a new carnival. It sounds like fun, so I thought I would play along today. Go here to play along too.

What I learned this week:
1. I really like having deep spiritual conversations. I knew I liked to have these conversations in person, but having them via email is just as fun. It adds some energy to my step.

2. I cannot work 60 hours in one month and keep up with the housework. *sigh. Be back in a second - I need to go start a load of laundry.

3. I love Wii Outdoor Challenge.

4. My Punkin has had one of those weeks where she seems older. I don't like it. Well, I like it - I just don't like it. I understand that makes no sense, but I also know you moms get what I mean.

5. It's really fun to go to lunch with a friend without kids. I did this this week for the first time since Punkin was born. I should do this more often.

--I totally understand #1 and #4.

--I can't even keep up with housework, and I don't work regulary outside the home.

--The Wii does look like fun.

--#5 reminds me that it's time for another lunch date with my workforce mom friends.

Having deep spiritual conversation is one of my favorite things in the world.

I wish I made more time to have lunch w/o kids, too. Usually the brief time away makes me miss them more. Oh, and if the topic at lunch was something deep and spiritual, then that's even better. About the deepest spiritual conversation I had recently with Max was about if God was holey (does he have lots of holes?) Those are precious, too, of course! ;)

I think the best part of blogging is meeting those people that like to have spiritual conversations and I'm amazed at how easy it is to do via email! :)

We need to schedule a lunchdate, pronto!

I want a wii - they look so fun!

Amen to #5 and I totally hear you on #4. My 6-year-old acts so OLD lately. Sad, but cute. :-)

#'s 4&5 are so true! I am glad they are healthy and growing, I just don't want them to grow so fast!
Lunch or any meal w/out kids is awesome!
