Jenni the Turtle

While desperately trying to keep SnugBug awake in the car so he would take a nap at home, I asked the kids to tell me a story about a turtle. Here is a summary of Punkin's story:

"Once upon a time there was a swan and a turtle named Jenni. Jenni the turtle and the swan were talking one day, and the swan asked Jenni the turtle what would be a good name for him, because he had never had a name. Jenni the turtle said the only names she knew were Jenni and Marcel, because Marcel was her friend the beaver. The swan said that he knew Marcel because they had gone sledding at the sledding hill one day. 'Oh' said Jenni the turtle. Well, they finally decided that the swan's name should be Swan because, after all, he was a swan. The End."

SnugBug said, "Turtles like water."

I love my crazy kids!

I love the way kids think. My daughter has a great imagination too. I like to ask her things just to hear what she has to say.
