Little Man bought a Hot Wheels forklift yesterday. He was SO excited when he opened it in the car and the forklift part actually moved up and down. He yelled, he showed his sister, he showed me.
We ran a couple of other errands, and on the way back to our house I hear him in the back seat:
"I'm so glad this moves up and down. I thought it did, but I wasn't sure. If it wouldn't have moved, my heart would have just been broken.
pause
Luckily, *little laugh, my heart is still fixed."

Aren't kids just wonderful.
I enjoyed your blog.
LOL - It's fun to hear kids say out loud what they're thinking. With boys, it won't always be this way, will it? I'm glad the forklift's operation could keep his heart in one piece.
Oh, that's just too precious!!! I could hear Q saying something similar! Boys and their cars/trucks/machinery! ;)
So glad it worked!!!
LOL... funny! i love the excitement over something simple!! One of the joys of being a kid (and a parent)!
That's cute. I love how he thinks out loud.
boys and their toys. They really don't grow out of it, do they.
Cute story, thanks for sharing it!
:-D
JS would have said the same thing.
Oh that is so precious! I love how he giggled at himself thinking it AND I am glad his heart and the forklift are working just fine!
